RECYCLE SYSTEM FOR MARINAS
AND BOAT YARDS
The primary media filter incorporates
a proprietary media that is permanent
and never needs changing. This
media is not effected by
hydrocarbons, or organic material.
Light hydrocarbons pass through the
media into the treatment/recycle
storage tank where they are stripped
from the water by a process called AIR
STRIPPING this method is approved
by the EPA as having the lowest
operating cost of any other method.
The final filter will filter the water to 5
microns before going to the pressure
washer.
The Next Generation system injects vast amounts of air into the
water through a patented air mixer to produce the oxygen
needed to control bad odor.
The air injection process is fixed by design and will not
change over the life of the equipment.
OUTSTANDING STANDARD FEATURES;
- No flow restrictions, continuous filtration and aeration at a
flow rate of 35 GPM.
- Single tank for treatment and storage.
- Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) for oil, grease and VOC
removal. VOC's are removed by DAF for 100% removal
eliminating the need for activated carbon filters.
- Simple operation and installation. Once the system is
installed and operational, the unit is practically self-
operating.
- Less floor space required.
- One tank used to store and treat water.
- Less setup time required.
- One pump is used to circulate water through filters, air
injector, and supply pressure to pressure washer.
- When unit is on, water is constantly being circulated
through media filter and air injector by the pump, no
pressure tank or switch to control pressure to pressure
washer is needed.
BUILDING BLOCK SYSTEM
If pH controller is needed after installation it can be added in the field as part of the building block. If
liquid polymers are need the controls and chemical feed pumps can be added in the field as part of
the building block system. The ability to modify the controls will allow you to meet any future
challenges without the cost of replacement.
COPPER,
Copper base bottom paint has caused a great deal of controversy among Federal, State, and Marinas
as to the amount of COPPER removed from boats during pressure washing. There are two forms of
COPPER present in wash water as it leaves the boat hull. One is DISSOLVED COPPER the other is
FREE COPPER, there is a strong correlation between the pH and DISSOLVED COPPER content of
waste water. As long as the pH remains above 7 pH COPPER is very difficult to dissolve into water.
The other part of the equation is the FREE COPPER which is washed off the boat as part of the paint.
Some of the paint that's washed off are large chips that fall onto the wash pad and collected in the
sump system, the remaining partials are captured in the above ground separator and filter system.
CONCLUSION;
As long as the pH remains above 7 pH and the proper filtration process is used Copper levels in The
Next Generation in Waste Water Treatment Technology closed loop recycle system will remain the
same and the need for CARBON FILTERS, CHEMICALS, OR ELECTRO COAGULATION is not
necessary.

Bag filter used to
collect solids from the
above ground
separator. Simple
operation by opening
valve and transfer
solids to the bags,
because the bags are
cascaded the first and
second bag will still
collect solids after its
full
